The immovable earth is closely associated with the praise and glory of God Almighty. They are inseparable concepts. In Psalms 93:1 we read that the LORD is clothed with majesty and strength, just as the world is stable and cannot be moved. If the earth is movable, then it impeaches the majesty and strength of God. Just as the earth is "stablished" that it cannot be moved so also is the eternal throne of God. See Psalms 93:2. Indeed, God links the immovable earth with his eternal throne. In the very next verse (Psalms 93:2) God explains: "Thy throne is established of old: thou art from everlasting." (Psalms 93:2) So, if the earth can be moved, so also, God’s throne cannot be eternal.
God makes the statement that he and his throne are everlasting (Psalms 93:2); and he does so in the context of the world being established and immovable (Psalms 93:1). That is what God is referencing when he states in Romans 1:20 that "the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead." The immovable and flat earth reveals God’s eternal power and Godhead.
"For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse." (Romans 1:20)
"The LORD reigneth, he is clothed with majesty; the LORD is clothed with strength, wherewith he hath girded himself: the world also is stablished, that it cannot be moved. Thy throne is established of old: thou art from everlasting." (Psalms 93:1-2)
A movable earth impeaches God’s eternal throne. Thus a perverted view of creation gives one a perverted view of God. His creation will not then reveal "the invisible things of him from the creation of the world." The invisible things of God, "even his eternal power and Godhead," will not be clearly seen from his creation. See Romans 1:18-20. A mythical creation will present a mythical god.
God has revealed his Godhead to man through his creation. Men are without excuse because that which may be known of God has been shown to man through creation. The wicked preachers who portray a spinning and rotating earth floating in a foreboding empty space full of darkness and devoid of the bright glory of God on his throne are holding the truth in unrighteousness. The wrath of God is upon them. See Romans 1:18-20.
